The Skin I am in Today illustrates the complex dualities of a trans* body moving between states of euphoria and dysphoria while the space itself remains unchanged. This documentary-style gestural movement film invites audiences to view this negotiation not through an arms-wide-open approach, but through a contained window of vulnerability. The film illuminates the interplay between conditioned and self-authored states of being, explored through the tactility, slippage, and resistance of trans* bodies in motion.
